Edge Naturale Hair Vitamins Review
I’m always looking for more ways to grow my hair out and keep it healthy. From taking biotin for over a decade, to weekly hot oil treatments and deep conditioning my hair. Whatever I can do, I do! So it was a no brainer when a collaboration from Edge Naturale came about. Now as most of you know I take my hair very seriously from the products I use, to supplements/vitamins I take. I learned the hard way that not every product is for me so the purpose of this review is to be as transparent as I can on my experience.
I started taking the hair vitamins at the beginning of March, but due to some medical things I had to stop taking them for a bit (nothing to do with the vitamins I just had to stop taking all vitamins and supplements for a month) but I am officially done with them. You get a 30 day supply and the serving size is 2 a day with or without a meal. All of the before and after pictures on the Edge Naturale website that I saw, you could see a lot of hair growth around the hair line as well as the hair growing in on the thinner parts of the scalp. The goal I was going for was all around growth with a focus around the crown area of my head because my hair seems to be thinning in that area. But the past 2 months I have been doing protective styles just to switch it up, and to give my hair a major break from color and heat.
Now in regards to taking the actual pills the only concern I had was the size of the pills and they didn’t smell the best, but other than that I had no issues. They didn’t cause my skin to breakout and the vitamins are plant based consisting of 28 vitamins and minerals, along with biotin and herbs. Right before I began taking the vitamins I got my hair trimmed so it could really grow. When I took my sew-in out a couple weeks ago to deep condition it I did notice tremendous growth and my hair looked fuller. My biggest worry when trying out hair vitamins aside of the regular biotin supplement, is that after you stop taking them your hair sometimes thins out after the vitamins are completely out of your system. So you are forced to continue to take them.
I will be posting before and after photos within the next week for social media and you can make a decision on whether you want to try these vitamins out. But trust me when I say, you won’t be disappointed. I will also do an update in another month on how my hair has been after not taking the vitamins just to see how my hair will react whether it stays full or thins out. For me that would be the determining factor on trying a new hair vitamin. The goal is to not have to take the vitamins forever so you want something that when you stop your hair doesn’t suffer because of it.
So stay tuned to see the results and be sure to check out edgenaturale.com for their products!
